Climate hazards - which ones do you cover?

Depending on the project requirements, we cover a large set of hazards. For ESG and sustainability-related assessments, we have a standard setup aligned with corporate reporting frameworks such as TCFD, IFRS S2, ISSB, CSRD / ESRS E1, the EU Taxonomy, Green Taxonomy and California SB 261.

The key hazards included in the standard setup are:

- riverine and pluvial flooding
- sea-level rise, storm surge and coastal inundation
- severe storm
- cold stress
- heat wave
- drought
- landslide
- wildfire
- extreme rainfall
- temperature change
- changes in precipitation patterns

Other climate hazards, climate indicators, and weather parameters mentioned in the EU Taxonomy also available, including heat stress, water stress, hail, permafrost, soil erosion, and more.

We also offer a broader Natural Hazard Assessment (NHA), which includes earthquakes, volcanic activity, tsunamis, groundwater risk, shrink-swell (clay) soils, and radon.
